David Rieder

Born to Life on August 5, 1948 in Fond du Lac, WI to Roland and Marvel Rieder. Born to Eternal Life August 19, 2021 in Milwaukee, WI. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Truss). Dear father of Jeffery Rieder. Fond brother of Mary (David) Balthazor, Carol (Jim) Gaertig, John (Cindy) Rieder and Jim (Lorrie) Rieder. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David retired from the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra where he was the music librarian for many years. He also was a well known freelance musician. Visitation Friday, September 17, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist or to the family would be appreciated.
