Debra Hoft Herod

Debbie Hoft Herod (nee Taylor) Of Wales, WI passed away on May 28, 2024, after a five-year battle with Alzheimer's. Debbie was born on June 11, 1964. She grew up in Milwaukee and moved to Necedah where she graduated from Necedah High School in1983. In her later years she worked at Froedtert Hospital for 15 years until the early onset of Alzheimer's. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, walking, planting flowers and going to the movies. She is survived by her husband, H. John Herod, III. Her daughter Crystal Hoft (Abe Bullis), and her stepchildren, Bryce Herod, and Julia (Emmanual) Mielke, her grandchildren, Isabella, William, Isis, Mason, and Chase. Her brothers, Jeff (Paige) Taylor, Mel (Lisa) and Mike (Aerica) Bjurstrom. Long time friend of Gala (Frank) Hoft, and nieces, nephews and many loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Alice Mayberry and her stepfather, Melvin Bjurstrom. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 6-8 PM at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, at 7:15 some family members will say some final words.
