Debbie, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14th, 2025. Born on Wednesday, July 28th, 1954, Debbie lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband, Tom, who remained by her side through all of life's beautiful and challenging moments. She is also survived by her cherished son, Jason, and his wife Lindsay Kuechenmeister. Her precious grandsons, Konnor and Nathan, were her pride and joy; Konnor, in particular, held a special place in her heart as her true blessing, a miracle to the family, Debbie was very proud of him.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her loving sisters, Chris (Ray) Sabon, Sherry (Tom) Zielinski, and Georgia (Craig) Rakowski. Her deep bond with her sister-in-law, Kathy Buddle, and many nieces and nephews enriched her life with love and laughter.
She was an ardent fan of the Packers and the Brewers, enjoying weekends filled with games and cheers. Her passion for fishing was a testament to her love for life's simple pleasures.
Debbie had an exceptional gift for transforming acquaintances into family, ensuring everyone felt loved and cherished in her presence. Her warmth and kindness will be remembered endlessly by all who were fortunate to know her.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Betty Gauger, Debbie's memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and strength for those she left behind.
Debbie McElligott was a beacon of love and joy whose memory will be eternally treasured in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville. Details for service times will be announced shortly.
