Dona Grellinger

Dona Grellinger (nee Castillo) passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 30, 1946. She graduated from Custer High School and met the love of her life at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Dona and John were married 55 years and she was most proud of her family. Her favorite activities were spending time with family and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents Wally and Audrey Wirth, her loving grandmother Audrey Grignon, her brothers Skip Wirth and Ron Castillo, and grandson Jacob Koester. She is survived by her husband: John Grellinger, her three children: Dan (Susan Davids) Grellinger, Mike Grellinger, and Katie (Ken) Koester; five grandchildren Emma, Nathan, and William Grellinger and Jackson and Lauren Koester; sister Molly (Dan) Wick and numerous other family and friends. Dona was known for her thoughtfulness and kind heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be a celebration of life service on Monday, July 17th at Schramka Funeral Home (13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield) at 5 p.m. Family will greet friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m.
