Donald Jaworski, age 87, passed away in the early morning of March 11, 2025, joining his beloved wife, Helen Jaworski, in eternal life. Together, they cherished over 60 years of marriage and took great pride in the family they built. Don was a devoted father to Daniel, Christine, Paula, and David (Kristin). He was blessed with twelve grandchildren: Stephanie (Nicholas), Staci (Matthew), Sarah, Amy, Kristie (Nicholas), Jonathan, Hannah (Isaac), Kayla (Spencer), Rachel, Samuel, Abigail (Jacob), and Maxwell. As well as his nine great-grandchildren: Anabelle, Jameson, Paisley, Emilia, Parker, Colin, Charlie, Olivia, and Ian; whom he treasured.
He began his career by serving his country in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he dedicated over 40 years in the packaging industry with St. Regis Paper Company and Great Lakes Packaging. Throughout his career Don built lasting relationships and was deeply committed to the growth and well-being of those around him. A man of deep faith, Don was an active member of several congregations throughout his life, including Prince of Peace, Holy Cross, and Living Hope. He found meaningful ways to give back to each community through volunteering, fellowship, and singing in the choir. As an accomplished wood craftsman and gardener, Don took great joy in sharing his passion with others. Don was a truly genuine soul, and his kindness, generosity, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
