Donald Schlicht

Of Milwaukee, WI. Born April 7, 1965. Passed away peacefully and entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the age of 58. He was preceded in death by his daughter Gretchen and parents Robert and Janet Schlicht. Donny is survived by his daughter Abigail and will be remembered dearly and missed terribly by his siblings Michael (Gail), Debra (Sue Durlak), Mark (Joni), Thomas, Michelle (Scott) Hoerig, William (Jodi), Christine (Jess) Haines, Mary (David) Komondoros, James (Sarah), Suzanne, and 19 nieces and nephews. Nephew and Godson of Sharon (Steve) Marquardt. Donny will also be missed by many cousins and close friends. Donny was a kind and loving soul. If you met Donny, you loved him. He always had a smile to share and a kind word to speak. He was a loyal friend and he cherished many lifelong friendships spanning from his early years at St. John De Nepomuc on to Messmer High School, Sherman Park Lutheran Church and many local theater companies where he shared his time and artistic talents. Donny was a great cook and loved to express his creativity through food. We will miss him and his special dishes at every family event. Our hearts are broken but we take comfort knowing Donny now rests in eternal peace. Visitation will be Friday, May 19th 11:30AM at Mother of Good Counsel Congregation, 6924 W. Lisbon Ave., Milwaukee, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice.
