Donna Kiepert

November 29, 1935 — October 3, 2022

Donna Mae Kiepert The Lord reached out His hand October 3rd, 2022, and took Donna home to join her loving husband Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Marie Kochie, sisters Dorothy Griep and Peggy Doyle, brother Jim, nephew Ray Griep, and granddaughter Brittany. Donna is survived by her children, Robert (Judy), Karen (Jimy), Thomas (Leanne), and Ronald (Kathy). Donna is also survived by her prize grandchildren, Rachel, Chris(Emily), Kyle, Megan, Micayla, Hannah, and Gabrielle. She was blessed with three great grandchildren, Neriah, Tyler, and Aubrey. She also is survived by many special nieces and nephews, and special friends. Donna Mae Kochie (Kiepert) was gifted to this world November 29, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Donna was an honor student at Rufus King high school. She went on to Marquette to earn her bachelor's degree in education, and her master's degree from Cardinal Stritch. Donna, Donna Mae, Donnie, Gram Cracker, Grandma Woof Woof, Mom, Mommy, Sweetheart, Honey was definitely a "one of a kind", broke the mold human being. She had the gift of making people happy. She shared life stories that could make you laugh, cry, and wonder. She left a piece of her heart with everyone she knew. She never left her house without a kiss, or a goodbye, or an I love you. She wouldn't let you leave her home without a hug, an "I love you", a "Drive safe, and call me when you get home.", or an "Are you sure you don't want to take some of the Schaum Torte?" Donna and Ray spent 65 years together with their family, friends, and dogs,( most often labs). Donna had a trade off with Ray to have the cottage in Eagle River if they would go to Fort Meyer's Beach during Easter breaks. Donna and Ray went to a few Rose Bowl games, and made it to South Korea together to see Ray honored for his duty there. Donna was always proud of family. Donna spent her career teaching 5th grade at St. Mary's school in Menomonee Falls. She coached cheerleaders, and volunteered at all football, basketball, and baseball games. She never missed a game of any of her children, and made it to most all of her grandchildren's games as well. She supported family and friends 110%, always! Donna was an amazing mother. She set the bar high for all of us as parents. The energy she had, the devotion shown to each and every person she knew, the pride that beamed in her beautiful smile, and the twinkle in her eyes will always be in our hearts. You will be missed beyond words, but your legacy will live on through each and every one of us. You are with the love of your life, Ray. Jesus answered your prayers to bring you both together. We love you!
