Doris Prekop

Doris Prekop, of Menomonee Falls, took her Lord's hand on July 8, 2023, at the age of 95. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, John, and daughter Nancy Francis. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Tom (Amy) Francis, Kevin (Sandra) Francis and grand daughter in law Kathy Francis; great grandchildren Alyssa (Broc) Watson, Ashley (Cris) Tillman and Jaden Francis. Further survived by four great great grandchildren. Doris was a longtime member of the St Mary's Menomonee Falls community and was a cook for the Menomonee Falls School District. In her early years Doris loved to travel. Cooking and baking (zucchini bread and dumplings) where also among her passions as well as yardwork. She loved playing cards with her "girlfriends", hosting parties and holiday dinners for her family. Service will be held at Schramka Funeral Home 13220 W Capitol Dr. Brookfield WI 53005 at 10:30 am on Saturday July15. Burial will be private. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Jan and Gary for their loving support and care.
