Corrigan, Dorothy G.
Of Slinger passed away May 21, 2019 at the age of 89. Born January 14, 1930 in Milwaukee to William and Sophie Radonski. Loving wife of the late James Corrigan for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Patrick (Gail), Michael (Susan), Timothy (the late Lynn), Mary (Dennis) Kuehn, Daniel (Lori), and Judy (Daniel) Zachow. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 grand dogs. Dear sister of William (the late Arlene) and Gilbert (Gail). Further survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
While James was alive, he and Dorothy were seasonal campers for over 30 years at Lakeland campgrounds. She loved to read, do word searches, watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She adored dogs, especially their dog Maddie who she missed every day, and all her grand dogs. She carried dog treats in her pockets for all her pups, and had a special attachment to Rusty, her little bear and Gabby. Dorothy was a great baker and made amazing sugar cookies. She was a loving mom and we will miss her terribly.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29 from 3-6 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) would be appreciated.
