Dorothy Tobin

Tobin, Dorothy L. Age 96 years. Of West Allis. Died on October 26, 2015. She was born on October 29, 1918 in Portland, OR. She was the daughter of deceased parents Leo Carl Drone and Anna Cecelia (Carlson) Drone. Dorothy married Richard E. Tobin on December 26, 1942 in Ladysmith, WI. Dorothy was very active at First United Methodist Church and its senior league. She is a retiree of Hotpoint/GE where she worked for over 30 years. Dorothy loved animals, especially her poodle Pumpkin. She was an avid sports fan, she loved watching sports, especially baseball and football. Loving wife of the late Richard E. Tobin. Dear sister of Edward (Irene) Drone and the late Ethel Ardene Wilson. Loving aunt of Debra Drone, Deanna (David) Glasl, Michelle (Terry) Block, Marsha (Lee) Dyson and Jeffrey Wilson. Further loved by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was blessed in having wonderful friends Jerry and Bonnie Chesky and their daughters Linda Chesky and Pamela Freybler. Visitation on Monday, November 2, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, 7520 W. Lapham St., West Allis from 9:30AM-11:30AM followed by Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Burial Monday at Highland Memorial Park at 2 PM (please meet at the cemetery). Memorials to the church appreciated. We appreciate the loving care at Applewood Assisted Living and LindenGrove-New Berlin.
