Of Brookfield. He was Born to Life on January 3, 1925, to Charles and Irene Ryterski Corrigan. He was born to Eternal Life December 14, 2015, age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Menden). Loving father of Wayne (Michelle), James (Candi), Kathleen (Michael) Pavel, John (Dawn), Colleen (Jerry) Drollinger, Scott, Douglas Jr. and the late Brian Corrigan. Fond brother of Charles "Jr." Corrigan. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister Dorothy Stranek, a brother James "Wally" Corrigan, many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug was active with the Boy Scouts as a Scout Master, the Special Olympics, the VFW, the Lions Club and St. Agnes Church in Butler. Doug loved his family, loud "classic" country music, bowling and golf.
Visitation Monday, Dec. 21, 10-11:30 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 12801 W. Fairmount Ave., Butler, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Reception to follow at Church. Following the reception, procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park for graveside committal service with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Assoc., 1555 N.
