Dear father of Erica (Will) Krueger, Vanessa (Mike) Behrens and Anna (Matt) Kulinski. Loving papa of Connor, Henry, Logan, Dougie, Tyler, Nolan and Ava. Loyal, kindhearted and generous son of Betty and the late Walter Hawkins. Cherished brother of Mitch (Sue) Hawkins and the late Linda Engel. Devoted son-in-law of the late Donald and the late Theresa Wendlick. Endearing brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor.
Doug lived a full life, enjoying many moments with his family and friends while hunting, fishing, golfing, playing racquetball and softball. He was known for his many mechanical talents, love of making sausage and helping others. He genuinely enjoyed grilling and cooking for his family. Take comfort that Doug died a happy man surrounded by his loving family.
