Wauwatosa

Edward Otto Morgan, 95, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by family. Ed was born on April 8, 1931 in Milwaukee to Earl D. Morgan and Esther Otto Morgan. He graduated from Milwaukee Riverside High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia from 1953-54.
After military service, Ed began working as an elevator operator at Northwestern Mutual and rose into insurance underwriting and sales while leading the employee staff union. He then worked for local insurance agencies before starting Morgan & Associates in Wauwatosa in 1970. Ed became a major local agent for tanneries, construction and other businesses while also providing personal and life insurance. He served as Milwaukee Chapter President of the Independent Insurance Agents of America. Many of his clients became close and lifelong friends. He retired in 1999 and moved to Mequon Wisconsin to enjoy more golf, sports, family and friends.
Ed married Jeannine Hogan on June 14, 1952, after years of courtship on Milwaukee’s east side and together they worked and raised their family in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. He is survived by Jeannine, sons Thomas ( Janis) and Michael (Janice), grandchildren Courtney, Rusty, Brianna, Jason, Mickey, Henry, J.J. and Khalil, and brothers Irv, Robert and Chuck, and many other close relatives. An avid sports fan, Ed loved to play golf with family and friends and watch tournaments on TV. He also strongly supported and followed the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Admirals, Badgers, Panthers, Warhawks and Marquette basketball. More than anything, he and Jeannine enjoyed watching his sons, grandkids and friends' children's sports and activities.
A celebration of life for Ed will be held appropriately at a local golf course in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wauwatosa Veteran’s Memorial Donate | Wauwatosa Veterans Memorial in Ed’s memory. The family wishes to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital, Congregational Home and Luther Manor for their support over the last two years. Condolences may be shared at www.Schramka.com
