Elda Warner

April 21, 1925 — November 9, 2020

In loving memory of Elda Marie Warner (nee Testolin), born April 21st, 1925 and passed away November 9th, 2020 at the age of 95. She was the wife of a WWII veteran, mother of 3, grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 5. Preceded in death by her parents, Nicola and Maria Testolin (nee Canale), brother Gaspar (Reno) Testolin, sister Esther Kluzek (nee Testolin), husband William Warner, son David Warner, and grandson Richard Warner. She is survived by her sons William and Robert Warner, grandchildren Rebecca (Becky) Henning (nee Warner) and Michelle, Kimberly Scott (nee Warner), Rachel and Erica, Kelsey White (nee Warner) and Kyle and Michael and Bryan, great grandchildren Hudson and Evelyn White, Lillie and Nora and Piper Scott. She was the proud daughter of northern Italian immigrants and loved that she was able to visit Italy with her siblings later in life, to meet her family who had stayed behind. On her first day of geometry class in high school her teacher advised her the class was for the boys and she'd be better off finding another option. She stayed and got an A. She was welcoming, kind and grounded while serious enough to be a steadying force for her husband's mischievous Warner side. She was loved and will be missed. Considering the current Covid-19 situation, no services are scheduled at this time. When the virus allows, a burial of ashes in Sterling, IL next to her beloved husband will be planned.
