Ellen V. Taibl

We mourn the loss of our dear sister Ellen, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Preceded in death by our parents, Elmer J. and Mary B. Taibl. Survived by her four siblings: Paul (Judy) Taibl, Norene (John) Thiel, Jenny Madden (Ron) and Martha (John) Horky. Favorite Auntie ‘LaLa’ to David (Lauren), Andy (Bethany), Kristin, Dan (Rachel),
Maggie (Jay), Michael (Nichelle), Ann (Will), Evan and Jeremy. Great Auntie ‘LaLa’ to her grand nieces and nephews.
El was a gentle soul with a kind heart and a passion for cross stitching, cookie baking, elves, bitters in her merlot and all things pumpkin spice and Hallmark. For years, El had a wish that one of her cookie recipes would be chosen for the annual We Energies Cookie Book. Recently, that wish was granted as one of her recipes will be featuredin the 2026 edition.
