Esther Wehner

Wehner, Esther R. (nee Krebs) of Menomonee Falls passed away on May 5, 2016 at age 91. Predeceased by beloved husband Gilbert, married 61 years. Mother of Ann Suhaysik (Joe Kehrer), Mary Lonski, Rose (Bob) Lussier, Lucy (Norris) Gammeter, Leo (Judy), Robert (Sally), Carl, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Ralph and Roland. Predeceased by sisters Anita Beder, Dorothy Unertl, Marie Becker, and brothers Raymond and Leander. Esther's many talents were shared with her family through gardening, sewing, cooking, involvement in 4-H, and the handcrafting of wooden figurines as gifts for each Christmas. She always put family first and her compassion was evident by always being there with a supportive, listening ear, helping with grandchildren, and working hard to provide extra comforts for her family. Esther instilled a love of the outdoors in her children through countless camping trips. Visitation Friday May 13, 10 to 12 noon at St. Mary Parish N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave. Menomonee Falls, followed by mass at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary School Tuition Angel Fund.
