Eugene Schulist

Schulist, Eugene A. "Gene" Found eternal peace on January 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Preceded in death by his wife Hazel Schulist (formerly Baker) and his daughter Penny Schulist. Loving father of Marcia (the late Dave) Brunner, Diana (Ted) Rittberg, Peter (Chris) Baker, JoAnn Dolezar, Janet Baker and the late Jean Baker. Dear grandfather of Daniel Schulist, Emily Ziehr, Samantha Rittberg, Michelle Dolezar, Jason Baker and Jamie Baker-Harrison. Dear brother of Betty Blanke, Patricia Bauer, MaryAnn Lauersdorf and Shirley Lauersdorf. Further survived by his great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends and his four-legged companion Casey. Gene retired from the US Army and the US postal service. He was a very proud veteran and belonged to the Alonzo Cudworth Post 23 and the Korean Knights. Gene enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 11 at 1 PM at American Legion Post #449, 3245 N 124th St., Brookfield.
