Felix Hughes

Felix Hughes, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 5th, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and love for his family.

Felix was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, to his parents, Mary and America. His early years helped shape the strong values and work ethic.

He spent many years working in factories throughout Milwaukee, where he built a life grounded in dedication and pride in providing for those he loved. He believed in putting in an honest day’s work and carried that value with him throughout his life.

He was a devoted husband, sharing over 40 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Darlene, a bond rooted in strength, and enduring love.
Felix had a deep passion for sports and was a loyal fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Above all, his favorite sport was boxing. He greatly admired Muhammad Ali, whose strength, determination, and spirit resonated with him.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Terrance (Timbe), Felicia, Stacey (Theo), and Justin (Micaela); his grandchildren, Latrell, Tyrane, Terrell, Miracle, Cyrus, Tristyn, Jordan, Jayla and Madison; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his parents, Mary and America; and his siblings, Felbert, Albert, Ernestine, and Ruby.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature and the resolute strength and the ability to protect his family. Felix touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
