Fr. Keith Brennan Sds

Died Sept. 9, 2021, age 80. Born Nov. 9, 1940 in Philadelphia to John and Elizabeth (Murtha) Brennan. Entered the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on Sept. 8, 1962; ordained a priest on Sept. 4, 1970. Taught at Francis Jordan High School in Milwaukee and Trinity Prep in Sioux City, IA, in mid-1960's. Associate Pastor at Mother of Good Counsel in Milwaukee, and Associate Pastor and later Pastor at St. Pius X Parish in Wauwatosa; Temp Administrator of St. James Parish in Mukwanago. Also ministered in parishes in Alabama and Tennessee; was Associate Director of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men in Washington, DC; Director of Renewal, Planning, and Communications and later Director of Temporary Professed for the Society's USA Province in Milwaukee. Retired to Tucson, AZ, in 2008, and Alexian Village in Milwaukee in 2017. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers: John Jr., Joseph, and William; one sister: Elizabeth Powers. Survived by two brothers: Gregory of Milford, DE, and Edward of Exton, PA; one sister: Joan Hunter of Seattle, WA; several nephews and nieces; and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family. Visitation Wednesday, September 22, from 10-11 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2506 N. Wauwatosa Ave., with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial Wednesday, 3 PM at Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz, WI.
