Fr. Thomas Novak Sds

Died January 29, 2022. Born December 16, 1932, in Antigo to Joseph and Mary (Jirovec) Novak. Joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on September 8, 1953. Ordained a priest on June 6, 1959. Ministered as teacher, counselor, parish priest, and in the administration of the Salvatorians, both in Milwaukee and in Rome. Did extensive research, editing, and writing on the history of the community and its Founder. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Gerald, Joseph (and wife Mary), and James. Survived by brothers Victor (Marcy) of Milwaukee, William (Joan) of Antigo; sister Margaret (Bruce) Brown of Milwaukee; sister-in-law Emily Novak of Antigo; numerous nephews and nieces, and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family.
