Garbisch, Fred Henry
55, passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at his home in DePere, WI. Freddy was born April 26, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to William Edward and Edith Joan (Matkovic) Garbisch. He was a graduate of Homestead High School in Mequon, WI, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Fred was a Sales Engineer in Chicago, IL, Green Bay, WI and DePere, WI.Fred was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and attended many UWM Badger football and hockey games. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed reading, fishing, boating, snowmobiling with the Sno Devils at Bass Lake near Antigo, WI, playing
cards, golfing and listening to music, the highlight of Fred's year was to hold Fred Fest at Bass Lake where he hosted the 30th anniversary of the reunion of his friends this summer.
He was preceded in death by his father William Edward Garbisch. Fred is survived by his cherished "Mumsy", Edith Joan Garbisch of Weston, MO; sister, Jeannie (Bob) Bialek and adored nieces. Jordan and Sydney Bialek of Weston, MO; "my favorite auntie", Patty Matkovic of Indianapolis, IN, aunt Dorothy Hellmann of Spencer, IN and aunt Ella (Gilbert) Hellmann of Kokomo, IN; and numerous cousins and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm with Services immediately following at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville, WI. Donations may be given to Kathy's House at www.Kathys-house.org.
