Gerald Kleser

Gerald Francis Kleser of Oshkosh, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 at age 86.  He was born in Milwaukee , Wisconsin on 10/1/37 to Charles and Johanna ( nee Hetzel) Kleser.  He graduated from St. Elizabeth Catholic grade school , thereafter he graduated from Boys Trade and Technical High School.  Jerry enlisted in the Army National Guard Red Arrow 32 ^nd Division to serve his country. Returning home he married Eleanore Ihn of Milwaukee , Wisconsin in 1964. They bought a house in Menomonee Falls where they raised their 3 children Gregory, Margie & Kristin.  Jerry worked in the printing industry as a lithographer, he retired in 2000. To occupy some of his retirement time , Jerry became a part time driver for Milwaukee Auto Auction.  In 2007 they sold their home in Menomonee Falls of 42 years and retired to their summer home on Lake Winnebago. Since he enjoyed driving and being with the guys, he worked part time at Badger Auto Auction in Fond du Lac.  When covid hit he decided to remain home. Living at the lake provided a gathering place for family and friends , needless to say many unforgettable memories were created and will remain in every ones heart forever. Some of his hobbies included: hunting, golfing, bowling, playing card games, traveling, going to casinos and using his ipad. He was a devout member of St Judes Catholic Church in Oshkosh He is survived by his wife of 59 years Eleanore, his children Greg ( Nancy), Margie ( Scott) Finco & Kristin ( Micheal) Jacobs Grandchildren:  Morgan ( Cori), Nikki, Jeff ( Alexis), Amanda ( Bryan), Sarah ( Jason), Karri ( Ben), Ashley & Kyle Great Grandchildren:  Courtney, Tyler, Jenna, Blake, Bree, Zoey, Isabel, Will, Nora, Luke, Kaylee & Avery Jerry had 2 older brothers Chuck & Ted both of whom predeceased him. Here was a man with a great sense of humor and his unforgettable smile gladdened our hearts, truly he will be missed but always remembered Private Family Service will be held at Schramka Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls
