Gerald Luedtke

Luedtke, Gerald R. "Jerry" Born to Eternal Life on December 21, 2017, peacefully, at the age of 82. Devoted husband of the late Mary Jane "Mick" Luedtke (nee Klas). Loving father to Mike (Tina) Luedtke, Cindy (Don) Durrett, Mindy (Todd) Bertka, and Jeff (Nikki) Luedtke. Jerry was an awesome Bumpa to Jacob, Drew and Danny Bertka, Sarah and Carly Durrett, and Grace and Sam Luedtke. He was also a loving Grandpa to Jennifer McKenzie, Jessy Torres, and Dustin Schmaus. He is survived by sister, Carol (Elroy) Depies, brother Jim "Pinky" (Bonnie) Luedtke, sister-in-law Joyce (Chuck) O'Brien, and brother-in-law Gary (Shirley) Bley. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and his beloved fishing group. It was Jerry's wish to have his body be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017, at Lumen Christi Catholic Church (2750 W. Mequon Road, Mequon). The family will receive family and friends from 9:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Our family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations to Jerry's memory be made to Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice, Columbia St. Mary's, 13111 N. Port Washington Rd., Mequon, WI 53092.
