Helen L Bottoff Gallo, Neosho passed into eternal life Sunday, Oct.11, 2015. Our mom, grandma, great grandma, and great, great grandma surrendered in peace and comfort in her home, in the loving care of her family. Helen was born May 30, 1923 in Homer, New York, daughter of the late Carl and Grace Miner Lawrence, and sibling of the late Jane Marsh, (Roger Marsh), and Charles Lawrence, (Arlene Lawrence). Helen's love as a dear mother of Sharon, (Eugene) Rommelfaenger, Larry Bottoff, Carlene D'Amato (Frank D'Amato) will remain always in their hearts. Grandma's legacy of love is in the hearts of her grandchildren, Tom (Amy) Bush of Hartford, Shelly (Eric) Billingsley of Kenosha, Brian (Jamie) Rommelfaenger of Sheboygan, Shannon (Jamie) English of Pt. Washington, Shawn (Ashley) Heine of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wesley Bottoff of Hartford, Elizabeth, Samuel, Robert and Lucas D'Amato of Brookfield. Also in grandmas legacy of love are great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Helen resided in Homer, New York for 60 years, with her beloved lifetime companion and dedicated father to their children, Walter R. Bottoff. Our parents arrived in Wisconsin in 1983 to be near their children and families. Our mom loved spending time with her family as well as gardening, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, playing cards-Kings in the corner. For many years Helen attended Shorehaven Senior Center, and in recent months was cared for generously and lovingly from Aurora At Home caregivers, and special friends. While living in Hartford, Helen delivered Meals on Wheels. Mom was a breast cancer survivor, and a stroke survivor. In lieu of flowers please make donations to an organization of your choice that may benefit those affected by cancers, Alzheimer's, heart related diseases, or those of less fortunate situations. A family service was held on Friday October 16, 2015. A friends and family memorial will take place on November 10, 2015. The visitation will be held between 2-4 PM with a Prayer Service to follow at 4 PM. Held at: Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005-2499
