Helene Reed

Born into Eternal Life and reunited with her loving husband, Harley of 57yrs. on Wed., Feb. 12, 2020 at the age of 85. Loving mother of Randolph (Julie) Reed, and Heidi (Keith) Klawien. Proud Grandmother "Nana" of Ursula (John) Lampsa, Erik (Jill) Beaty, Casaundra Starr and Jeffery Butt. Cherished great-grandmother "Nana"of Evan and Lana Lampsa, Karson and Samuel Beaty, Derek Hunter-Reed, Drew Starr, and Tatiana Butt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Helene was preceded in death by her husband, Harley on June 5, 2006, infant daughter, Veronica and daughter, Irene (Mark) Schaefer; siblings, Berta, Hans, Oskar and Else (Joseph) Till; all the four-legged fury dogs and cats. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of the 1:00 PM Memorial Service for both Helene and Harley at SCHRAMKA FUNERAL HOME, 13220 W. Capital Dr., Brookfield, WI 53005. Helene was born on August 17, 1934, in Hanau, Germany. The daughter of Adolf and Erna (nee Klages) Klimt. At a young age Helene preformed in Theater Ballet in Germany. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Harley E. Reed, a United States Army WWII Soldier. They were married at Phillipsrue Castle, Hanau Germany. Harley "Gene" and Helene "Leny" relocated to Apollo, PA to reunite and meet his family. The Reed Home was a place that all were Willkommen and would never leave hungry or thirsty; family parties and holidays were made special with family music and Helene's cooking. Most of all Helene's greatest joy was her husband, Harley, children and grand/great-grandchildren.
