Irene Thom

Irene Marie Thom (nee Giuliani) born August 3rd, 1932 and born to Eternal Life May 15, 2022 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents Severino and Emma Giuliani, brother Albert Giuliani, sister-in-law Bernice Giuliani, sister-in-law Audrey Wilkum, and her beloved husband Neal. Irene will be remembered as a fun and devoted aunt of Steven (Loretta) Giuliani, Laure (Randall) Evchuk, Cheryl (Michael) Ostrenga, the late Renee Giuliani, Julie (the late Dennis) Chucka, Dale (Celerina) Wilkum, Marrianne (James) Perkins, Bruce Wilkum; and many more great and great-great nieces and nephews. Irene worked over thirty years for Milwaukee Public Schools. Her years at Maple Tree Elementary School until her retirement were joyful ones. She married the love of her life Martin Neal Thom on October 15th, 1955. Their lives were rich with close friends and family, travel, and a passion for golf. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the outstanding caregivers and the entire team at St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus which was Irene's home for the past seven years. We are grateful for the exceptional kindness and friendship shared by these dedicated individuals. Also special thanks to Irene's dear friend Ronald Jankowski who provided many years of heartfelt companionship and assistance to Irene and Neal. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ King Catholic Parish on Friday, June 3rd, 2022. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus employee fund. Rest in peace Irene, our beloved aunt and cherished friend.
