Jacob (Jake) John Jensen, 34, was taken too soon to meet the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Jake was born on November 11, 1987 and raised in the town of Lisbon, Wisconsin. He always
stuck close to home, living and working in neighboring Lannon. He was employed at Ken Becker
& Sons as a lineman where he was an extremely hard worker and loved what he did. Jake was
always very mechanical and could fix anything. He had a passion and incredible skills for using
chain saws to cut down trees.
Jake was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten by anyone who was lucky enough to
have met him. He was boisterous, charismatic, caring, and always full of life. He was the type of
person who would offer help to anyone. Jake lived his life on his own terms, never conforming
to the mold the world told him to fit into.
Jake's greatest love in life was his beautiful daughter, Jemma, and he spent every spare minute
with her. They shared a passion for the outdoors and they loved to look for morel mushrooms
and sheds, go fishing, or just be together enjoying and exploring the woods.
Jake also loved being around his family and friends and they loved being around him. His
enthusiasm for life was contagious and we are all better people because of his impact on our
lives.
Without a doubt Jake was a true patriot. He loved the United States of America and could
proudly tell you about the founding of our country, our founding fathers, the meaning of the
constitution and the importance it has for us today. He loved old coins and how they tie into
our history, and he carried several special ones with him every day… even until his final
moments here on earth.
He is survived by his loving mother Deborah Becht-Soliday (Michael); daughter Jemma and her
caring and gracious mother Jessica Schmidt; brother Joshua Jensen (Lindsey); nephews Jackson
and Jevrett; step siblings Kayla and Kyle Soliday; and grandmother Joan Becht. He is further
survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jeffery Jensen, grandfathers Richard Becht and William
Jensen, grandmother Nancy Jensen, and aunt Karen Becht.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for Jake on Saturday, August 6th from 2-6pm,
including a memorial service at 3:30pm with a buffet following, at the Lannon Lions Community
Center in Lannon Village Park, 7610 N. Lannon Road.
Please wear red, white and blue to show your love and support for Jake and for our country
that he loved so much.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Jemma's custodial fund. Her fund has been set
up at PNC Bank and donations can also be sent to Deborah.
