James Herman

James E. Herman Jim went from this world into the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 83. His daughter Laurie was at Heaven's gate to meet him as were his parents Joe and Alma and his siblings Alden "Buck" (Marge) Herman, Fern (Danny) Larson, Joyce (Erv) Osby, Betty (Floyd) Steeno, and Shirley (Ray) Larsh and brother-in-law Frank d'Arras. Jim leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Pauline "Peach" Herman (nee d'Arras) as well as his daughter Linda (Kevin) Helland and son Michael (Julie) Herman. Beloved grandpa of Michael, Gregory, Rachel, Elissa, Shannon, Erik, Paul, and Brielle. Loved by brother and sister-in-law Paul "Butch" and Mary d'Arras and many nephews and nieces. Jim was born December 21, 1938 in Norway, MI. He grew up in Norway, MI and Aurora, WI and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1957. Jim lived in Germantown, WI and worked at E.R. Wagner from 1963 to 2003. He loved his Packer football and enjoyed time with family. Many years were spent comping in Upper Michigan with those he loved. Service will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204N11940 Goldendale Rd, Germantown on Thursday, July 28 with visitation from 3-5 PM and funeral immediately following at 5 PM.
