Jane Sobczak

Of Franklin. Jane Sobczak (nee Korczynski) was born to eternal life, surrounded by family, on November 8, 2022, at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Emily Korczynski, her brother Stanley (the late Estelle) Korczynski, and her sister Mary (the late Roman) Cieslak. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late John. Cherished mother of Michael (Trudi), Mary and Margaret. Dearly loved by her grandchildren Bradley (Hannah), Gregory (Lauren), and Nora (Neil) Aloise. Great-grandma of Camille and Nicholas. Further survived by nephews, a niece, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Jane was the matriarch of the family. While she worked outside the home, she always put her family first. She left a legacy of kindness, generosity, spirituality and love. She lived her life by putting the needs of others above her own and that is how she wishes to be remembered. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 18, at 11:00 AM at St. John Paul II Parish-St. Alexander Church, 1568 W. Holt Ave. Visitation Friday at the Church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Vision Forward Association, 912 N. Hawley Rd., Milwaukee, WI 53213 or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
