Janet Moranski

(Nee Dopki) Janet Ann Moranski of Brown Deer, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at the age of 84. Born July 9, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late John Dopki and Helen Czarnyszka. She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty three years, Robert J Moranski; their children Jeff (Erica) Moranski, Greg (Kari Lee) Moranski, Michelle Moranski, Dawn (Kurt) Blehovde and Paul (Kim) Moranski; grandchildren Melanie (Drew) Preston, Jessica (Russell) Smith, Jonathan (Emily) Moranski, Jared (Hayley) Moranski, Stefani Moranski, Madelyn Moranski, Brianna Blehovde, Brady Moranski, Kaitlyn Blehovde and the late Logan Moranski; great-grandchildren; Austin Smith, Lucas Smith and Amelia Moranski; Sister Patricia Dopki; brothers and sisters in law Dale (Gerry) Lachacz, Joe (the late Kathy) Moranski, Frank Moranski and many special nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronald (Carolyn) Dopki, sisters in law Irene (Bob) Johnson, Henrietta (James) Schieble, Dorothy (Harry) Betlej, Stanley (Betty) Moranski and grandson Logan R. Moranski. Janet was so very happy following the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whether it was through sporting events, school events or special days in their lives.  She loved to get phone calls from them and see new pictures show up on her Google home. She loved cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers, having football season tickets for over thirty years and travelling to games all over the country with her husband Bob including during Bowl Season to Arizona, Las Vegas, and Hawaii! Janet worked for over 20 years at Robert W Baird as a Sales Assistant and retired in 2007.  She gained her most valuable experience earlier in life as a home maker – starting each day early by making many lunches, cleaning the house, and preparing our favorite meals. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Good Hope Parish in Milwaukee since 1970. Family and friends are invited to meet on Saturday September 9th at Our Lady of Good Hope, 7152 N 41st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53209.  Visitation is from 9-11AM with the mass to follow at 11AM.  She will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
