Janice Hibner

Jan Hibner (nee Johnson) passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the age of 79 years. She was born in Knox, Indiana and lived the last 50 years in Hales Corners. Jan graduated salutatorian from Knox High School. While attending Ball State University, Jan was president of her Pi Beta Phi sorority and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Retail Merchandising. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Milwaukee and worked for Marshall Field's. Jan's greatest loves were her family, her friends and her gardens. Jan was preceded in death by her husband Harry of 51 years, her daughter Elizabeth, and her brother Jim. She is survived by her two daughters Susan (Terry) Beeck and Sarah Corbett. She was a proud grandma to Harry, Louise and William Corbett and Owen and Rachael Beeck. Jan is also survived by her siblings Joanne, Jeanne and Jerry. Further survived by other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank and commend the medical staff at the St. Luke's Neuro ICU for their outstanding care for Jan and compassionate support to her daughters. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. A celebration of Jan's life will be held at a later date.
