Janice Lieber

July 18, 1952 — September 28, 2023

Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the age of 71. Janice was a strong independent woman and a wonderful person loved by many. She attended Cardinal Stritch College and Sangamon State University on her journey to becoming a passionate licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, and marriage & family therapist. She loved her Savior, took pleasure in wandering through endless flea markets with her sister, enjoyed playing sheepshead and games, and cuddled with her fur babies as much as time allowed when not working. Preceded in death by her parents William and Louise Lieber and nephew Michael Zimmer. Survived by her sister Donna (Allen) Zimmer, nephew Mathew Zimmer (partner of Ashley), and niece Melissa (James) Vrtis, and great-nephew and nieces Mathew Jr., Sophia, and Charlotte. She is also survived by other dear family and friends and will be missed by her cocker spaniels Connor, Harley, and Mia. Funeral services will be held at Loving Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church on 39th and Clinton Ave., with visitation on Thurs., October 5, 9-10:30 AM with service following. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Loving Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southeastern Wisconsin appreciated.
