Janice Maureen Worzalla

Janice died Friday, February 6, 2026. She was 93 years old. Born on March 13, 1932, in Milwaukee, Janice was the daughter of Fred Wichman and Sadie (nee Jeskie). She was the beloved wife of Leonard Worzalla, dear mother of Brian (Chrissy), Jennifer (Tom), Gregory (Tammy), and Christopher and loving grandmother of Michael, Joshua, Katelyn, Megan, Jessica, Leah, and Paige. She is great grandmother to Brayden. Janice was preceded in death by her son Christopher, Leonard, her parents, her sister Guerine and brother Keith.

Janice taught grade school for 35 years, with most of that time being at St. William Church in Waukesha. Janice left her career after her initial 5 years of teaching to be a stay-at-home wife and mom. Janice supported her family, returning to teach after Len needed to medically retire early. Her faith and strength throughout her life were easy to see.

Things that Janice held dear: her faith, time with family, and friends. Janice will be remembered for her passion for teaching, love of hosting/entertaining, her smile, and welcoming nature. Like her husband, she always gave her very best, especially to her family.

The funeral is directed by Schramka Funeral Homes with visitation on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha. A service will follow the visitation. The funeral will be on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at 12 PM at Corpus Christi Parish - St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha. Committal service will be Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, 11 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, S22 W22890 Broadway Ave., Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are encouraged.
