Jean R. Hansen What a Wonderful Life! Jean R. Hansen was born in Chicago, Illinois to Carl Kimble and Rose (Bayfield) Kimble on December 26, 1937. She passed into eternal life on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023, in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Jean married Ron Hansen on May 5th, 1956. Together they had 3 children, Sharon, Ronald, and Robert. Ron and Jean raised their family in Fox Lake, Illinois until Ron retired from the railroad. The kids were grown so they adventured to Arizona where they lived for 15 years. Jean and Ron travelled by bus, train, airplane, boat, car, and dune buggy, seeing sights, going to casinos, and enjoying life. In 2015, Ron and Jean moved north, to Wisconsin, to be closer to family, deciding they had done everything there was to do around Arizona. Jean enjoyed visiting with family, watching golf, and living a simple, peaceful life with Ron. Jean is survived by her three children: Sharon (John) Hergenroether, Ronald Hansen, and Robert (Kimberly) Hansen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tamie Hansen, Tanya Hansen, Peter (Delanie Ann) Hergenroether, Ben (Hannah) Hergenroether, Steven (Molly) Hansen, and Patrick (Steph) Hansen, and her great grandchildren: Jenifer, Nicole, Jeremy, Kaylie, Kinzlee, and Cecelia. Jean was proceeded in death by her loving husband Ron in October of 2022, her parents, her sister-in-law, Barb Hansen, and her brother-in-law, Chuck Hansen. Jean's family would like to thank the staff at Ellen's Home in Port Washington for the care they provided to Jean to make her transition loving and peaceful. There will be no services.
