Joan Becht

Joan Becht Peacefully went to be with the Lord October 4, 2022 at the age of 89 surrounded by her family. She was a very loving mother to Mary Jo Messina (Robert), Richard Becht Jr. (Joyce), Kathy Kessler (Randy), Robert Becht (Jane), and Deborah Soliday (Michael). She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was the dear sister of Larry Tchon. Preceded in death by her husband Richard Becht Sr., daughter Karen, grandson Jacob, parents Stanley and Mary Tchon, one brother and four sisters. She will be further missed by other relatives and friends. Joan was born in Chicago, IL, and later moved to Wisconsin with her family. She was a strong woman who was proud of her Polish Heritage. She put her family first, and her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She also loved to cook and dance. Joan lived a long life blessed with so much love. She will be dearly missed. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Zilber Family Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11 from 10-11:30 AM at Schramka Funeral Home, W164 N9034 Water St., Menomonee Falls. Service to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Menomonee Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or Cystinosis Research Network are greatly appreciated.
