Joan Katherine Gallmann (nee Gundrum) On Friday evening, January 5th our mother, sister, and friend, Joan Gallmann (nee Gundrum) passed into everlasting life after a long onset with Alzheimer's. At her side were her two sons, Dale and Tom, along with their wives, Theresa and Laurie respectively. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Gene Gallmann, being happily married for 49 years. Joan was one of 12 children who were raised in Butler, Wisconsin by John and Marie Gundrum. Through her life she had a commitment to living her Catholic faith, including putting herself through High School at Divine Savior Holy Academy, and then becoming a member of Christian Mothers where she enjoyed working fish fries as a member of St. Anthony Parish in Menomonee Falls. Joan retired from Honey Acres and was a member of the Butterflies, the Red Hatters and the Club Cushman Scooter Club. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers at Marquardt where Joan resided. Joan is survived by her two sons, Thomas Gene (Laurie) and Dale William (Theresa), five grandchildren Nicole (Jonathon) Thames, Erik (Katie) Gallmann, Ryan (Dallas) Gallmann, Michael (Erin) Gallmann, and Tricia (Keegan) Seibel and seven great-grandchildren, Chase Seibel, Zoey Seibel, Andrew Gallmann, Gavin Gallmann, Tobin Gallmann, Henry Gallmann, and Owen Gallmann. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20 th from 10AM-12PM at St. Anthony Parish, N74W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls. Mass to follow at 12 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association in Joan's name are appreciated.
