Joan Gruenewald

Gruenewald, Joan Esther (Nee Loots) Formerly of Mequon, WI and Wabeno, WI. Joan was born June 23, 1932 in Chicago, IL. She passed away in West Bend on December 31, 2015. She is the daughter of Richard and Hattie (nee Iwer) Loots whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Gruenewald. Joan is the loving mother of Cindy (Tim) Selig, Bradley (Sydra) Kidd and Curt (Lynn) Gruenewald. Dear grandma of Adam (Alisha) Selig, Melanie Selig, Jeremy (Carly) Kidd, Stephanie (Kirk) Spencer, Aaron (Nicole) Gruenewald and Eric (fiance Nicole Dinkel) Gruenewald. Further loved by her 10 great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law Beth Smith, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Joan was an avid Packer fan and was a great lover of music. She will be remembered for her kindness, outgoing personality and her generosity to all. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Crown of Life Church, 1292 Tally Ho Trail, Hubertus from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Crown of Life Church or to the charity of your choice appreciated.
