Joan (Neilitz) Miller

Born to Eternal Life on October 28, 2025
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Ione Neilitz; her grandchild, Cole Miller; and her sisters, Janet (Carl) Kaminski, Delores (Ed) Waniger, and Carole (Roger) Hastreiter.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Mike; her sons Todd, Troy (Nicole), Mark, and Chad (Jenn); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her siblings Art (Elaine) Neilitz, John (Mary) Neilitz, Paul (Ruth) Neilitz, Mary (Mike) Henner, and Sherri (Bill) Glandt. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jami (Tom) Kain, and her "Little Sister," Tanya (Bob) Hamacher.
Joan generously gave her time to many different causes, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lumen Christi Catholic Church—where she served as an organist, and on parish council—and Ozaukee Family Services, among many others. She never sought recognition but always offered help where it was needed most.
Visitation will be held at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon, on November 14, 2025, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. Joan will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
