,Joan E. Voelzke (nee Lovrine) Died peacefully Wed. Oct. 11, 2023. Beloved wife of late David. Daughter of late John M. and Madeline (nee Merkel). Dear Sister of Dorothy (Ray) Lovrine Garcia, Marion (Ray) West, Late John J (Sandra) Lovrine; Robert (Irene) Lovrine, Ronald (Christine) Lovrine and Margaret (Thomas) Bell. Further survived by 21 nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Joan loved to travel by plane or car or boat, long or short trips from Alaska to Mexico, and was always ready to go out to eat to try new restaurants. She worked for Marcus Corp since 1969, starting as a secretary in accounting and working up to executive secretary, administrative assistant and executive assistant to the president since July, 1989; then as executive assistant to chief financial officer and retiring after 45 years. Visitation at Mother of Good Counsel Church 6924 W. Lisbon Ave, Milwaukee 11:30 to 1:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 3, Mass to follow at 1:00, followed by inurnment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W.
