Joanne Literski

(nee Walloch) Joanne was born Nov. 13, 1923 to Joseph and Anna Walloch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She met the love of her life at Marquette University, Robert Literski. They had 5 children and began their family business, Tower Chicken Farm. Joanne was first and foremost a devoted wife, and a caring and nurturing mother. Mom and Dad devoted their lives to their five children. After the children were settled in school, mom worked in the purchasing department for the City of Milwaukee for 14 years. She also found time to be a Girl Scout leader, member of the Christian Woman's Altar Society, the Milwaukee Society's Women's Auxiliary, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and St. Alexander's Resurrection Choir. Born to Eternal Life February 26, 2016, age 92 years. Loving wife of the late Robert. Beloved mother of Margaret (Steve) Haag, Eugene (Susan), Ann (Daryl) Kooping and Lauren (Greg) Schmidt and the late Paul (Bonnie). Proud grandmother of Aaron, Jennifer, Joseph, Adam, John, Lindsay, Daniel, Anthony, Andrew and David Sean. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Kara, Grace, Drew, Nicholas, Elise, Colton, Alexander, and Kennedy. The family would like to thank Elizabeth's Residence for the wonderful care of Joanne in her last years. Visitation Friday, March 11, 9-11 AM at St. John Paul II Parish-St. Alexander Church, 1568 W. Holt Ave. with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
