John Brunner

Brunner, John F. Passed away on May 27, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents William and Hulda and his brothers Roland and William. Loving father of Deborah (Jon) Martin. Beloved uncle of Bill (Rene) Brunner. John was born and raised in Thiensville. His dad built the house that is now Chuck's Place Restaurant. In 1960, John moved to Jefferson Ave in Cedarburg and lived in that house until December of 2017. He then moved to Creek Side Manor in Oak Creek where he could finally relax and give up his household chores. Thank you to Creek Side for welcoming Dad. John retired from the Cedarburg Light and Water Department in 1995 after 34 years. He worked at the Power Plant from 1960-1984 and utility crew from 1984-1995. Thank you to Mark, Shirley, Andy and Amy for being the best neighbors ever! Thank you to St. Luke's ER and the Coronary Intensive Care Unit for the compassionate care given to Dad. Private family services will be held.
