John J. Heck

John J Heck born to life March 16, 1943 born to External Life September 3, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen, son William, grandchildren Christine, Lincoln and Calistyn. Further survived by other family and friends. John is preceded in death by his daughter Julianne and his parents.

In the Army National Guard John served as the Military Police. After his time in the Army, John join the Milwaukee Fire Department achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He also was an instructor at the Bureau of Instruction and Training at the Milwaukee Fire and Police Academy.

From childhood John developed a passion for toy trains. He became well known throughout the country as a train collector, he was even a member of The Train Collectors Association.

In his younger years John was an avid deer and duck hunter. Together with his family there vacations took them to 49 of the 50 states.
