December 29, 1940 — September 18, 2025

Passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on September 18, 2025. Beloved husband of 62 years to Jean (nee Schneider). Proud father of John Rock IV, Kim (Jeff) Gross, the late Shawn Rock and the late Brent Rock. Loving grandfather of Nicole (Jake) Tritz, Kailyn Onasch, John Rock V and Sidney Rock. Loving great-grandfather of Lacey Tritz. John also leaves behind a sister Barbara and many other relatives. John was talented and skilled at fixing anything and had a quick-witted sense of humor. He retired from Jefferson Smurfit after 44 years of service and helped his son out at the tavern. Private family services.
