Born to Eternal Life on August 19, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Hattie. Brother of the late Ray (the late Esther) Kruzycki, the late Harriet (the late Ted) Racewicz, the late Dorothy (the late Bob) Hagest, Esther (the late Richard) Poklasny, Margaret (the late George) Palbicki, the late Delores (the late Ralph) Celander, Teresa (the late Walter) Bartz, the late Tony (the late Helen) Kruzycki, Mary Ann (the late Orville) Lenz, the late Rose Mary (the late Ed) Palbicki, Barbara (Rich) Hauke, Suzann (the late John) McCarthy and Joanne (Jim) Colburn. Further loved by numerous nephews, nieces and friends, especially lifelong friend Frank Nerad.
John served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 406 (formerly Post 411) and VFW Post 9496. He retired form Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company and was a member of Brewery Workers Local 9.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 27 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Divine Providence-St. Casimir site, 2600 N. Bremen St., Milwaukee. Visitation at the church Saturday from 9 AM until time of Mass. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Humane Society appreciated.
