John Lafferty

March 1, 1934 — February 8, 2022

John Richard Lafferty Passed peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the age of 87. John was born in Newton, Iowa, the son of Charles R. and Sara L. (nee Beach) Lafferty. He married the love of his life Beulah (nee Dawson) Lafferty in 1954. John is survived by his wife Beulah of 67 years; children, Glenna (the late David) Wagner, David (Lisa) Lafferty, Paul (Deborah) Lafferty, Steven (Carrie) Lafferty, Sarah (John) Lafferty Roti, and Susan (Larry) Reeder. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Janice Lafferty, and a sister, Elizabeth Naughton Hunt. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and retired from the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center as the Chief of Medical Media. John was also instrumental in helping WVCY to broadcast television programming. During his lifetime, John displayed his love for God first, family second and then others. Sharing the love of Jesus was a passion for him. John loved family vacations and spent his time traveling from one end of the country to the other with his children and grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 12:00PM until the time of the 2:00PM Memorial Service at the Schramka Funeral Home, Menomonee Falls.
