On October 29th, John Michael Perry passed into eternal life. He died peacefully in his sleep at St. Camillus senior housing in Wauwatosa, WI, were he resided the past 8 years. He was predeceased in life by his wife Margaret (Maggie) Perry (nee:Trevoranus), also by His Father, Ambrose Perry and Mother, Marie (nee:Frazier), and his brother Patrick Perry and children, John and Ambrose (Bud), who was survived by Conchita (nee:Lopez) and children, Joseph and Pam, Maria and Dennis(Boehmer), Anna and Jim (Kamper), Conchita Perry, Isabel Perry and Loran Kephart, Christina and Chris Gargus, and Patrick jr. and Krista. He was also predeceased in life by sister-in-law Vicky (Michael). He is survived by his brother Michael Perry and (former wife) Nancy and children, Tim and Lisa Lathrop, Chris and Kim Perry, Kathy Perry, Mark and Angie Perry. John was born in St. Louis, MO on November 23, 1929. He attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and Eureka High School. He then attended theological seminary school to become a Catholic priest. After several years he decided to extend his education at Marquette University where he earned a Doctorate in Theology and a Master's Degree in Psychology. Not long after his graduation he decided to be laicized from the priesthood. He was a professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI from the early 70's thru 2016. Upon retirement he was bestowed the title of Professor Emeritus from Cardinal Stritch University. Throughout his tenure at Cardinal Stritch University and after, he fostered a substantial bible study regimen at several north Milwaukee parishes and community centers. His faith was a very important part of his life. He also authored a series of books under the title openings of 'Exploring the...' and a number outside that series. He also had a love for classical music. He was cremated and his remains were interred in St. John's Cemetery in Elkhart Lake, WI, along side his wife Maggie's remains. Requiescat in Pace my friend.
