John Saunders

Milwaukee - Born to Eternal Life December 30, 2022, age 80 years. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Gensler) for 53 years. Dear father of James, Kelly (Dan Vinson), Matthew (Christina) and Andrew Saunders. Loving grandfather of Alex, Olivia and Jacob, Ella and Seamus, and Conley. Fond brother of Ann Hanson and Thomas (Karen) Saunders. Further survived by Kent (Kathy) and Susan Saunders and their children, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. John was a past Grand Knight of the Fred Miller Council of the Knights of Columbus. Special thanks to our son Jim for his support and strength for Mom and Andrew the past few years. Also thanks to Conley for his cards, pictures and special hugs that made Grandpa so happy. Visitation Tuesday, January 10, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Margaret Mary Church, 3970 N. 92nd St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wauwatosa Special Olympics or the Knights of Columbus Bishop Leo J. Brust Council 3702 are appreciated.
