John Sternemann

December 11, 1957 — September 18, 2024

John Sternemann Jr., age 66, passed away peacefully at Aurora Zilber Hospice Center in the company of his loved one, on September 18, 2024. He was survived by his fiancé, Amy Ellenbecker, brother James (Patti) Sternemann, sister Debra (Dan) June, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and mother, John Sr and Dorothy, aunts, uncles and cousins . John was known as a fun-loving guy with a "wicked sense of humor". He loved his family and enjoyed teasing his nephews and nieces. He was a humble person always willing to help. John knew his way around the kitchen and was considered by many to be an excellent cook and grill master . He was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, play. Among other things he was an active member of the Catholic Order Of Foresters and a member of Catholic Financial Life (Chapter 63) He will be greatly missed by all. A funeral visitation will be held on September 28, 2024, at St. Dominic Catholic Parish, 18255 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045, from 9am – 11am, and a mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am.
