Joseph Guidinger

Born to Life on February 25, 1962 in Milwaukee to Art and Lois (nee Lustig) Guidinger. Called to Heaven too soon on July 13, 2024 at his home. Beloved husband of Carla (nee Holmes). Dear father of Rachel, Jacob and Jordan. Loving brother of John, Jim, June (Ken) Schlager, Jerome, Jeff (Melissa), Jean, Jay (Khai), Janet (Mike) Loesche and Joy (Mark) Danielski. Fond uncle and godfather to many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Linda (Mike) Conway. Further survived by cousins, other relatives and many close family friends. Preceded in death by his parents, and his mother and father-in-law Donald and Shirley Holmes. Joe attended St. Agnes Catholic School in Milwaukee, where he was an altar server and dedicated member of the Boy Scouts. He graduated from Whitefish Bay Dominican High School in 1980, earning cross-country and basketball letters. Joe, an avid swimmer and water polo goalie, was employed as a lifeguard at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee. During the summer, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle to and from work. Joe graduated from St. Norbert College in 1984 with a BA in Accounting. He was a long-time CPA in the Milwaukee area. Most recently, he held the position of Tax Director at A.O. Smith Corporation. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, fishing and clay shooting. Joe loved sports, especially when family was involved. He was an active member of the Waukesha Gun Club and Boy Scouts of America. He loved animals and adored the three family dogs Angel, Bailey and Skittles. Visitation Thursday, July 25th, from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Dr., Hartland , followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM. Private burial at the Village of Hartland Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the St. Charles website: https://parish.stcharleshartland.com/site/home
