Iannelli, Joseph A. of Brookfield passed to Eternal Life on June 25, 2026. He was born in Milwaukee in 1926 to parents Michael and Prudence (Gagliano) Iannelli and is preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace (Racanella).
He is survived by their three children Joseph Jr. Iannelli (Gina), Michael Iannelli (Rose Spano) and Virginia "Ginny" (John) Furstenberg and his beloved grandsons Richard Ticcioni (Erica), Mark Ticcioni (Sarah), Nicholas Iannelli (Erin), and Eric Furstenberg (Mariah). He is also loved and survived by two great grandchildren (Grace and Fox),
Joseph was a proud member of the US Marine Corp, serving his country in the Pacific campaigns of World War II. He and his fellow Marines contributed to the book "Island -Hopping with L‑3‑6”, depicting the historical details and recollection of their service and providing a ground-level perspective on one of the most pivotal and grueling campaigns of the war. Upon return to civilian life; he and Grace married and founded Iannelli’s Custom Shoppe and for over 60 years joyfully worked together taking pleasure in providing the master craftmanship found in Milwaukee area’s finest homes. He would later describe himself as having realized the American dream.
Joseph is also preceded in death by brothers Pasquale (Teresa) and Paul (Rose) and is survived by sister Rosemary Yob (Ralph), brother Mike A Iannelli, Sr (Karen), and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the many health caregivers at Heritage Elm Grove.
Visitation will be held on July 6 from 12:30 – 2:00 at Wisconsin Memorial Park- Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005 immediately followed by service, military honors and burial.
